Clare Maguire

  • With 10 years + experience in the food industry I work as a Freelance Food Consultant helping clients deliver relevant, delicious and eye-catching content to engage consumers and drive growth.

    My main focus is on recipe and content development for commercial, editorial and food industry clients. I help clients through the whole process from on-trend and brand specific ideas, to writing, testing, editing and finally cooking for photography and video.

  • As a classically trained chef I worked in some of London’s best known restaurants such as Ottolenghi and Padella. Since then I’ve travelled extensively across the UK, Europe and Australia cooking for families, events, pop-ups and retreats.

    Fresh and sustainable food is what excites me, the smell of the sea from freshly caught prawns, aromatic herbs waiting to add flavour. The texture, the crunch, the vibrant flavours and colours. I’m obsessed with the flavourful punch of South-East Asian cuisines, the spices of the Middle East, Italian simplicity and I love bread, preferably with lots of salty French butter.

    I currently work between Sydney & London (and various places inbetween). If I'm not in the kitchen then I'm usually found swimming in the ocean, practising yoga, eating out or travelling.
